The DTEK50 , running with Android 6.0 Marshmallow , is the new commitment of BlackBerry and comes a month after it announced it would stop making its model Classic.
The company claims that this dispostivo is the safest system in the world because the software encrypts all data on the phone , including photos and videos, giving users the power to control and monitor their applications.
The software also captures malware and install security patches.
The phone has a screen of 5 inches, a thickness of 7.62 mm, the thinnest in the market used 16 GB of memory, which is expandable with a microSD card.
The cost of the safest phone in the world is $ 299 (approximately) and goes on sale in early August.
John Chen , CEO of BlackBerry, said the new DTEK50, the company expects to capitalize on the popularity of the Android platform to deliver their brand as a synonym for secure software.
He said that BlackBerry needs to sell 5 million phones for the company's business, or he would consider leaving the hardware business.
