The Most Disappointing Tech Games Of 2016 until now

The Most Disappointing Tech Games Of 2016 - 2016 was a great year for video games, but it wasn't a perfect year. On the one hand, it was a great year for first-person shooters and PC strategy games. On the other hand, quite a few releases were half-baked, disappointing, or just plain bad.

In the below video I discuss my top five video game disappointments for the last year.

There are others not mentioned here, like Homefront: The Revolution which probably deserve a spot on the list. But I never had really high hopes for that game. The games in my list aren't even necessarily bad; they're merely games that I was really excited about, and ultimately ended up feeling letdown by.

#5 Dishonored 2 because it fell flat compared to the first game.

#4 Pokemon GO because in spite of the buzz surrounding the game it's not very fun to play.

#3 Star Fox Zero because gimmicky controls ruined it for me.

#2 No Man's Sky because it was boring and not what we were told it would be.

#1 Virtual Reality because it's just not a very fun way to play games once the novelty wears off.

Obviously, I go into greater depth in my reasoning in the video.

What were your most disappointing video games or gaming experiences of 2016? Let me know in the comments or on social media.
